Crane beach is considered to be one of the best beaches in Barbados, it's in the top 3 on TripAdvisor. Accra beach on the other hand, is a very under-rated beach. Check out the pics below on each beach and comment your preferences and thoughts.
Crane Beach
Crane Beach, originally a Harbor is one of the most beautiful beaches along the coast of Barbados. The waves here are perfect for beginner surfers or for body surfing, while the coastal coves offer sheltered swimming close to shore. It's definitely worth a visit, however, its also home to a lot of seaweed and recently visitors have been posting about too much rough waves.
Accra Beach
Accra beach is popular with visitors and locals as it runs along the bus route, therefore its easily accessible. This beach is beautiful with soft soft sand and minimal seaweed. Lots of little rum shacks to have a quick cocktail / drink in between dips in the crystal blue warm water. Bustling with various things to do; available water sports, restaurants and shopping areas, also, at various parts of the beach you can really get some quiet time especially for those who like to get in a good book. However, this beach isn't highly rated like crane beach. What's your view? Post in the comment section below...
